With all that’s been happening over the last week or so, we’re a little behind with issuing this summary of our last Board Meeting, but for the record here we go ………..

At the meeting of the Board of Directors on 15 April there was still a hint of optimism but following Saturday’s results and despite winning it now looks like Conference football next season.

The new Community stand is proving successful with guests from schools, junior football clubs and others making full use of this facility.  There is still an opportunity for businesses to purchase a Debenture Seat in this new stand and further details can be obtained from Bob Green at the club.  Congratulations to Jamie Young for picking up the supporters’ and the players’ Player of the Season.  Also well done to our very own Ian Goodwright for his Supporter of the Year award.

steve-claridge-Image-001There are still tickets available for the Sportsman’s Dinner on Friday 3rd May with special guest Steve Claridge.


A date should be fixed soon for the Darts Evening.

The Shots’ Trust AGM will take place on Thursday 27 June and papers will be issued approximately 4 weeks in advance.  One item on the Agenda will be the proposed increase in membership fees.  Following Ian Goodwright’s survey, it appears that most members support the suggestion of increases – details to follow.  There is also the opportunity for you to nominate a member for election to the Board of Directors of the Shots Trust; there are a couple of vacancies.

The Trust is monitoring the football club’s boardroom developments and will keep you informed when we have further information.

At the Trust’s meeting last week we were assured that there would be no increases in ticket and season ticket prices next season, so we are seeking clarity on what is now being said by the Club; again we will keep you informed.
