ScoreboardAt their January meeting the Trust Board were joined by Pat and Richard Llanwarne who shared their expertise in marketing and analysis with regard to the Supporter Survey.  This survey, being conducted in co-ordination with the Football Club Board, will be available to all supporters during the month of February, both on-line and in paper form.

A summary of the other major topics discussed is outlined below :

Escrow Account

The Trust Board had communicated with all contributors and offered them 3 options with regard to the future of their deposited monies, one of which was a transfer to a Forever Shots Fund.  The Board were awaiting the outcome of this exercise before opening up the Forever Shots Fund to other fans, provisionally targeted for February.

Sponsorship

The Trust continued to attract sponsorship from local businesses with Eagle Radio now sponsoring the back panel of the Trust gazebo.

Community Stand

Bookings for this were still going really well and it was agreed that the atmosphere created when the stand was full greatly added to the matchday experience.  Thanks to Yateley MOT and Eagle Radio, the Trust were now able to offer goodies to the young supporters there.

Player of the Month

Those presenting the trophy will now receive a signed photo of the occasion.  This had already been arranged in respect of the December Player of the Month.

Media Update

The Facebook and Twitter accounts continued to attract more followers, maybe encouraged by the possibility of winning the draw for the wine for those who ‘liked’ the Trust on Facebook or followed it on Twitter.

Away Travel

The Trust were keen to continue to offer travel to away games but had had to cancel this a few times due to lack of support.  Coaches and minibuses were available and it was hoped that more supporters would support this to enable those supporters without other means of getting to matches to support the team.

Membership

Reminders have been emailed to members whose renewals are due.  A first draft of the Trust’s new membership leaflet was reviewed.  Following some minor revisions this will be progressed into print shortly.

Volunteers

It was noted that the request for volunteers to fulfill the Front of House Ambassador role had fallen on deaf ears.  A further request will be issued shortly.

Meetings with Football Club Board

The Trust Board continue to hold positive monthly meetings with the Football Club Chairman and Directors, the next of which is scheduled for 9 January 2014.
